Blue Mountains
Just outside of the city are the magnificent Blue Mountains. We spent a day driving in the mountains and stopping at every lookout for incredible views. We also spent a little time shopping and walking around some cute little mountain towns. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can ride a cable car from one mountain peak to another at Scenic World.
The Beaches
Because Sydney is right on the eastern coast of Australia, it obviously has easy access to many beaches. And they’re really nice beaches too with bathrooms, showers and lockers. Or you can opt for a more natural experience and check out the various rock pools that fill up with ocean water. We hopped a ferry over to Manly Beach and had a great time. You can’t go wrong either way.
