Phillip Island

Cute Koalas
If you’re looking for a way to see Koalas while you’re in Australia, I can’t recommend the Phillip Island Koala Conservation Center enough. This is a great way to lay eyes on the fuzzy little cutie pies without disrupting or terrorizing them. Koalas are so cuddly-looking many people want to hold and snuggle them. However, they should never be handled by tourists. PIKCC provides a nice natural habitat for koalas to come and go as they please. They’re never enclosed but we still saw around 6 or 7 koalas. It was a great experience.
The Nobbies View Point
This breathtaking point on Phillip Island was definitely a highlight of our entire Australian trip. The views are incredible. A network of boardwalks allow you to explore the area which includes gorgeous ocean views, beautiful flowers blanketing the hills and a blowhole. Depending on the season, you may be lucky enough to spot fur seals, little penguins or Silver Gull chicks. We probably took 300 photos of this spot but the pictures just don’t do it justice.
