A Vintage Beachtown
The boardwalk of Santa Cruz will make you feel like a kid at any age. The original Looff Carousel and Giant Dipper roller coaster are still in operation today. Grab some cotton candy, check out the arcade and spend a little time in the vintage shops along Pacific Avenue.
Surf City
Santa Cruz is well-known for it’s great surfing hot spots which can accommodate surfers at every level from beginner to very experienced. While neither of us have actually tried the sport, we really enjoyed watching the surfers at Pleasure Point catching waves and riding them as far as they can.
