Marina Park
This really cute park is right on the water and has an adorable playground for young children. There are also some nice walking paths leading out to Soter’s Point which is a great place to watch the sunset and there’s a really beautiful mermaid sculpture which was gifted to the City of Ventura by two Russian immigrants as a symbol of love for their new country. It’s a really stunning piece of art!
Grant Park
High on a hilltop, Grant Park is a beautifully landscaped spot overlooking the coast and city of Ventura. The park resides in the Ventura Botanical Gardens and we had the best time sitting on the benches and watching tiny hummingbirds swooping from one flower blossom to another.
