Top 7 Vegan Restaurants in Valencia

Looking back through our photos and notes to select our Top 7 Vegan Restaurants in Valencia brought back some incredible food memories. Even without the great food Valencia is a uniquely charming city with a perfect mixture of old historic beauty and impressive modern architecture.

But once you add in the incredible vegan food, then you truly have a great city in Valencia. We loved the Paella, Pancakes, Burgers, Acai Bowls and so much more while exploring this gorgeous Spanish city. So let’s get started with our Best Vegan Restaurants in Valencia!

1. rawcoco

RawCoco Vegan Valencia
RawCoco is a rare example of a restaurant we checked out that we didn’t even have on our list of must visit restaurants in Valencia. We just stumbled upon it one morning for breakfast while exploring the city and went back 3 days in a row! It’s not totally vegan, but they offer a ton of vegan options. We were obsessed with the pancakes covered in cashew cream, fresh fruit and maple syrup. The avocado toast was perfect and the acai bowls were exactly what you’d expect from a great restaurant. RawCoco also offers a huge selection of delicious drink concoctions to go with your already incredible meal. They just had to be at the top of our list of the Best Vegan Restaurants in Valencia.

2. aloha vegan delights

Aloha Vegan Delights Valencia
This tiny restaurant serves up some huge burgers. Aloha Vegan Delights offers a bunch of delicious Hawaiin named burgers like the Kohala Mex. The veggie burger is loaded with vegan cheese, pico de gallo, corn nuts, avocado, lettuce and spicy chili. They also serve Acai bowls if you’re looking for lighter fare. We’re sure all of the burgers are just as good as the two we ordered, but whatever you do make sure you get a milkshake and some super crispy fries! The Shaka Coco was incredibly rich and loaded with dark chocolate flavors. Made with bananas, dark chocolate chips and chocolate oat milk, this shake is a must when in Valencia.

3. almalibre acai bar

Almalibre Valencia
Alright so why do we have a picture of a hot dog instead of an Acai Bowl? Well don’t worry we got an Acai Bowl at Almalibre for dessert, but we came here for a Hot Dog. Jamie loves hot dogs and we always hunt down vegan dogs when we’re traveling. This one was inspired by a delicious dish called Street Corn and was loaded with corn, a spicy cream sauce and cilantro. The acai bowl made for a perfect dessert. Almalibre Acai Bar is a great choice for breakfast, lunch or dinner when visiting Valencia.

4. the vurger

The Vurger Valencia
If you’re craving that fast food vibe with a healthier and tastier twist then definitely check out The Vurger. We stopped by here late one night for a snack and ended up trying a burger, fries and some ice cream. Everything was great, especially the soft serve sundae. Normally we kind of look down on soft serve to be honest, because it usually lacks in flavor, but not this one. Vurger just hit the spot for us on our late night in Valencia. The burger was juicy, the fries were crispy and that sundae was a perfect end to our night.

5. veggie paella at valencia beach

You can get great Veggie Paella all over Valencia and most of Spain for that matter. But if you’re visiting Valencia, take a quick bus ride over to Valencia Beach where there are dozens of restaurants along the beach serving up this classic Spanish dish. If you’ve never had Paella then you’re seriously missing out. The flavors from the fresh veggies, saffron, rice and olive oil will absolutely hook you with your first bite. But what really keeps us coming back for more is that perfectly crispy socarrat. This is the crispy rice crust on the bottom of the pan and is what really makes Paella stand out from other rice dishes. So enjoy a stroll along the beautiful Valencia Beach Boardwalk and stop in somewhere for a meal you’ll never forget.

6. nomit

Nomit Vegan Valencia
The interesting and elaborate menu at Nomit is what drew us in. The quality of the food is what made us add it to our list of the Best Vegan Restaurants in Valencia. The Homemade Burgers were a huge hit with our whole table. We absolutely loved the Moussaka and fresh salads. To finish things off, Nomit offers several healthy and tasty desserts including this Chocolate Hazelnut Cake that we couldn’t get enough of.

7. Lo de Ponxe en el Kinto Pino

This is our kind of place. Lo de Ponxe en el Kinto Pino offers a different super healthy and delicious menu each day. This little tapas bar excels with clean flavors, generous portions and great prices. We also loved the cozy and chill atmosphere that instantly made us feel welcomed. Check this place out early on your visit to Valencia and you may find yourself checking back each day to see what new creations they’ve come up with.

So there’s our list of the Top 7 Vegan Restaurants in Valencia. We hope you visit Valencia yourself and enjoy the beautiful historic city and all of the amazing vegan food they have to offer.

Flight

Skyscanner is our go to site for finding the best flights based on prices, dates, times and flight length. It’s incredibly intuitive playing around with all of the airports and dates to find the best deal.

Accommodation

What would we do without Airbnb? Honestly, there are so many places we’ve been that just wouldn’t be affordable for us without Airbnb. In cities like San Francisco you’ll pay around half of what you’d pay for a comparable hotel. We can’t recommend Airbnb highly enough for your next trip.

There are a ton of great hotel/motel sites out there, but we almost always find ourselves booking our next hotel through Booking.com. The site is very user friendly and they often have more properties like small local motels than the bigger sites.

Travel Insurance

Whether you’re concerned about flight issues, medical emergencies or stolen luggage World Nomads has your back. We’ve used them for many of our trips and highly recommend their trip insurance for anyone looking for that extra level of protection. The rates are very affordable and you’ll know that you’re totally covered.
