Top Vegan Restaurants Prague

Eating our way through the Best Vegan Restaurants in Prague was an amazing experience with everything from Donuts and Crepes to Goulash and Borsch. As a bonus to all of the delicious vegan restaurant choices in Prague, they’re also super cheap.

We loved the traditional dishes from Vegan’s Prague and the shockingly tasty raw pancakes from MyRaw Cafe. If you’re vegan and thinking of visiting Prague, just do it. Check out this list below of our Top 8 Vegan Restaurants in Prague to prepare yourself for an incredible food journey.

1. moment cafe

If there could be only one restaurant for us on this list of the Best Vegan Restaurants in Prague, it would have to be Moment Cafe. Sadly we visited Moment Cafe on our final day in Prague. We say sad because, had we known it was going to be so amazing, then we would have gone every single morning. Each item we ordered was truly incredible. We ordered the breakfast sausage with scrambled tofu and it was hands down the best scrambled tofu we’ve ever eaten.
Then we ordered the crepes with vanilla creme, fruit and chocolate. And it’s not just the food that made us want to go back. They served up one of our favorite ever Chai Lattes and a perfectly rich Hot Chocolate. We actually ended up ordering one more of each drink once we tasted them. If you visit Prague, then go out of your way if you have to, but visit Moment Cafe.

2. vegan's prague

Looking for authentic Czech food? Vegan’s Prague is the best restaurant to find classic dishes with a vegan twist. We loved the Svíčková with Dumplings and Fresh Cranberry Jam as well as the Goulash. The flavors were bold, yet everything we ate seemed clean and healthy at the same time. We didn’t have room for dessert, but they offered homemade sweet dumplings that sounded amazing.

3. estrella

Estrella Prague
Estrella is a vegetarian restaurant that only has a few vegan options on their small menu. But whatever they have, just order it and you’ll be happy. We loved the Eggplant Quesadilla and the Panang Curry. Our favorite dish though was actually just a simple onion soup. It was a perfect bowl of comfort on a chilly day. If you’re looking for a slightly upscale and impressive meal at a great price then head over to Estrella.

4. myraw cafe

If you’re looking for a Raw restaurant to completely change your mind about raw food, this is it. Sometimes we’re a bit leery about completely raw restaurants, because several of them over the years weren’t so hot. MyRaw Cafe was absolutely incredible. When our plates arrived, the presentation was beautiful and once we dug in, the taste was just as impressive. Choosing between the Crepes with Chocolate Cream and Fruit or the Pancakes with Cashew Cream and Blueberries is impossible, so just get both! Also, don’t forget to try one of the many delicious drinks like the Golden Mylk or the Dark Cacao.

5. country life

Country Life Prague
When we arrived in Prague we were starving and Country Life was our first stop after dropping off our luggage. It’s a cafeteria style restaurant with mostly vegan options. A few things we got were just ok, but others were amazing. There’s a huge variety on the menu from Vegetable Borsch Soup to Tofu Sirloin making it easy to find something you’ll love. The prices are dependent on the weight of your plate, so don’t get too much the first time around. Once you know what you like, then you can load up the 2nd time around.

6. Pastva

Our dinner at Pastva was a complete flavor overload and had to be on our list of the Best Vegan Restaurants in Prague. The variety of dishes they offer up is truly impressive. I ordered a rich and creamy veggie lasagna and Jamie ordered this incredibly huge bowl of delicious soup. We can’t remember exactly what the dish was called, but it was loaded with vegetables and bold flavors.
Pastva Prague Vegan Restaurant
To top off this already great meal, we finished with one of the best pieces of carrot cake we’ve ever had. We liked it so much we actually ordered a 2nd slice to go. It just didn’t feel right experiencing those delicious bites only one time around.

7. blue vegan pig shop???

Blue Vegan Pig Shop Prague
What is there to say about these amazing donuts? Well, they’re freaking amazing! We don’t know what the hell the name means, but who cares right? We grabbed these to go for our train ride to Vienna and it was the perfect breakfast treat for the ride. Everyone on the train was looking super jealous too. They were huge, covered with delicious toppings like homemade raspberry jam, coconut flakes, dark chocolate and even some fruit loops. Definitely swing by Blue Vegan Pig Shop for your donut fix.

8. chutnej bistro

If you get sick of the classic local cuisine then head over to Chutnej Bistro for Burgers, Pizzas and Fries. They offer a huge variety of burger bases from Kale and Daal to Falafels and Beetroot. We got a pepperoni pizza because, if there’s one on the menu, Jamie is going to order it. It was good, but to be honest I think you’re better off with the other pizzas. They have some interesting toppings and great ideas that sound delicious like Pizza Vulcano or pizzas covered in Fried Artichokes.
So that’s it for our Top 8 Vegan Restaurants in Prague list. We hope you get a chance to visit Prague and enjoy all of the incredibly unique and diverse food they have to offer. Please tell us all about your favorite vegan restaurant in Prague in the comment section below.

Flight

Skyscanner is our go to site for finding the best flights based on prices, dates, times and flight length. It’s incredibly intuitive playing around with all of the airports and dates to find the best deal.

Accommodation

What would we do without Airbnb? Honestly, there are so many places we’ve been that just wouldn’t be affordable for us without Airbnb. In cities like San Francisco you’ll pay around half of what you’d pay for a comparable hotel. We can’t recommend Airbnb highly enough for your next trip.

There are a ton of great hotel/motel sites out there, but we almost always find ourselves booking our next hotel through Booking.com. The site is very user friendly and they often have more properties like small local motels than the bigger sites.

Travel Insurance

Whether you’re concerned about flight issues, medical emergencies or stolen luggage World Nomads has your back. We’ve used them for many of our trips and highly recommend their trip insurance for anyone looking for that extra level of protection. The rates are very affordable and you’ll know that you’re totally covered.
