Budapest
In Hungary, we’ve only been to Budapest and we fell in love with this city. Split by the river, both sides of the city are unique and lovely in their own right. Pest has really fun ruin bars which utilize the ancient dilapidated crevices of the city and turn them into hip places for residents and tourists to hang out. Buda has the Buda Castle and the Fisherman’s Bastion which is one of the most unique structures I’ve ever seen. It was rainy and gloomy for the duration of our stay in Budapest but we still enjoyed it tremendously. That’s gotta be a great endorsement for this fun city.
Incredible Architecture
If you want to see a grand example of stunning architecture, look no further than the Parliament Building in Budapest. And there are so many other examples sprinkled throughout this Hungarian city from Fisherman’s Bastion and even the Széchenyi Chain Bridge. Pictures are lovely but you really need to see them in person.
