Outside the City
For us, the best parts of Seattle weren’t the city itself but, rather, the attractions right outside of the city. Nearby, you’ve got Mt. Rainier and all it has to offer including the Skyline Loop Trail. There’s Snoqualmie Falls just 30 minutes from the city. Check out the Hoh Rainforest and the Grove of the Patriarchs Trail. This is definitely a place we’ll go back to because there’s so much to see in the area.
High Points
We didn’t just explore outside of the city. We also found some really cool things to do in Seattle as well. See the city from the top of the Spaceneedle and the Sky View Observatory was really magical. We were torn between which of the two high views to choose from so we did both. Each offered different views, the Sky View Observatory was maybe even better than the Space Needle. But the Space Needle has the Chihuly Gardens and exhibits at the bottom and we’re huge fans of Chihuly.
