Both of us have regularly heard that the French do not like Americans and are rude if you visit. Admittedly, we’ve only been to Paris, but that stereotype does not hold true from our experience. The French people we encountered were so kind and welcoming. Even though neither of us can speak a word of French, the locals were always helpful and never rude or dismissive. We’re really looking forward to getting back and seeing more of France when we get the next opportunity.
