History & Mythology Come Alive
Similar to Rome, Athens is the very pulse of so much incredible and ancient history that we all began learning from a very young age. I recall being enthralled in grade school when Greek mythology was first introduced. I loved learning about the various Gods and Goddesses and reading of their epic journeys and adventures. Visiting Athens and seeing all the historic buildings and monuments with depictions of said Gods was a little bit like stepping into a storybook and becoming a main character. And walking the same grounds where so much important history took place really gave me chills.
