Maine is one of the earliest places we traveled to and it won us over right from the start. We love the topography of Maine, particularly on the coast. This part of the country was shaped by glaciers long long ago which results in really dramatic and jagged shorelines. It’s a magical experience to watch the ocean waves crashing against the huge rocks or catch the sun sink below the horizon and paint the sky with so many beautiful colors. This is a place we’ve gone back to over and over.
