I know this doesn’t hold true for everyone, depending on where you live, but the Carribean is pretty easy for us to get to from Virginia. So we watch out for cheap flights and snag them when we can. It’s so great to be able to escape the cold weather of Winter and escape to the beautiful tropical beaches in the Carribean, even if it’s just for 4-5 days.
About Those Beaches...
The beaches in the Carribean are wonderful! Depending on the island you’re enjoying, the beaches may be flat, right on the side of the road and dotted with palm trees or they may be secluded, accessible only by a dirt path through the forest. Some of my favorite beaches are in the Carribean and it’s where I go to in my mind when I’m having a stressful day.
